Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween everyone! Well our Halloween got off to a late start as we all slept in today. We just laid around for the first half of the day, and "practiced" trick or treating a little bit more. So, we went to Target to go and get some stuff around 5 and by the time we got out it was starting to get dark so we went home to change her into her costume. On the way home she fell asleep! We woke her up because we didn't want her to miss trick or treating, after all her practicing and all. Well she was a bit grumpy but saw some candy we had in case we had any trick or treaters, and had some M&Ms, then she was fine. Our first stop was Ellen's house (Devany's babysitter). I liked her costume, especially her hat!!! The neighborhood was great, they were really in the spirit! There was even a house with a walk through haunted house, and a pirate show! Then we went to Auntie Kim's & Uncle Nolo's house! Devany got lots of chips there! Thanks guys!!! Then we went to visit an old friend at mom's old work. Dev got a big bag of goodies there. We went to visit Uncle Junior next, but by that time she was fast asleep. We got home had dinner, we're gonna watch a movie and go to bed. I really don't feel like going to work tomorrow. I can't believe this month is over. It'll be Thanksgiving soon and we sure do have alot to be thankful for. Well we hope you had a safe and Happy Halloween!!! Enjoy the pics...

It's almost Halloween!

Devany and her dad were practicing on how to "trick or treat" yesterday. I think she's pretty much got it down. She is gonna be a little lamb. Not the most original costume but, it's warm, and she like the tail and big floppy ears. I think she's going to be very afraid of the other costumes out there. We'll just call it a night early. More pics on the way!!!

We've recently met some friends online that have a daughter that was born with a cleft lip and palate just like Devany. She went into surgery at UCLA on Monday and will maybe be released on Saturday. If you remember Devany was able to go home in 2 days, well, Jordan has to stay because the swelling in her mouth hasn't gone down and she has a breathing tube breathing for her. It's so hard to just stand by and watch your child be in so much pain! But I know she will be okay because she is with the best doctors there!!! So keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers!!!

Our First Blog!!!

Hello everyone! This is the Pamiza family's first blog at our blogspot. This is very new to us, so keep in mind that we are computer rookies. We would like to thank Jen and Jordan for introducing us to the "blog". Well, to get things started, I am proud to announce that we are members our the cleft club, which is GREAT!!! I've been looking for something like this for a while now and I found one online at yahoo.com. For those who don't know our daughter Devany was born with a severe type 4 cleft and a unspecified anamoly of the eye. I've been looking for a support group for parents with cleft children or any type of deformality (for lack of a better phrase). The group is great. They offer words of inspiration, stories happy and sad, and a place to vent! Well watch for more blogs, videos and pictures from us soon!!!
